Mario Party 3D is a fan game for the Nintendo 3DS. It involves the cast discovering a place known as Party Island, which Bowser seeks to take over. Starlow is the host of the game.
Gameplay[]
Mario Party 3D returns to the classic gameplay formula that was absent from Mario Party 9. Players run around a board collecting coins and Stars, with minigames being played at the end of every turn.

Game Modes
Party Palace[]
Play on a party board alone or with friends under set conditions. Battle Royale and Team Battle are available.
Story Mode[]
Play accross six boards to defeat Bowser!
Minigame Milky Way[]
Play minigame-oriented modes. Orbulon, the alien from the WarioWare series, hosts this mode.
Club 'Shroom[]
Purchase items, listen to music, and view your trophies and records in this mode.
Extras Island[]
Hosted by the Pianta Bros, this mode contains minigames that can't be found on party boards, as well as minigames from past Mario Party titles. Miis can participate in these games.'
Options[]
Not really a mode, per say. You can change various settings. Takes place in E. Gadd's laboratory.
Party Boards[]
Mario Party 3D features eight boards, two of which are from past Mario Party games. Some boards must be unlocked or purchased at Club 'Shroom.
